Key Deliverable: Manages and implements predictive, preventive and reactive maintenance processes for assigned facilities to ensure high reliability of machine/equipment and systems in support of meeting safety, profitability, cost and production goals. Shall lead the new projects and cost reduction in spare and inventory control. An, Effective communicator with relationship management skills with ability to connect people across business levels.

Job description:
• Develops and implements a long range strategic improvement maintenance plan.
• Supervises, leads and inspires a team of subordinates to efficiently achieve departmental objectives through daily planning and scheduling/allocation and reviews of work performance.
• Provide specification for selection and purchasing of machine parts and utility items
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing the maintenance budget; Manages department spending and performance, initiates programs and procedures to reduce spending and enhance performance.
• Manage smooth running of utilities such as N2 plant, ETP/STP, DM water plant, air compressor and chiller etc.
• Calibration of all equipment’s, instruments, lifting equipment’s/overhead crane etc.
• Safe guarding of moving/hazard machine throughout the facility.
• Monitor and control department’s key performance indicators, quality, housekeeping, etc. in accordance with company requirements and report to management- improvements/downtime/reports and counter measures.
• Prepare and maintain skill matrices for maintenance department and provide fitter, electrical and technician training OJTs (On the Job Training).
• Investigate new equipment, describe the specifications for equipment, review quotes, design and oversee installation as well as the start-up of new equipment for the production process
• Leadership of direct reports, building effective teams, develop motivation and commitment, maintain morale and implement actions on all disciplinary issues in accordance to company rules.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the company including effective implementation and adherence of ISO/QMS/EMS & 5S.
• All other tasks assigned by the management from time to time
