Head – Finance – (Plant Controller)
The Plant controller is a key leader on the plant leadership team. Contributes to all areas of plant
management and provide strong financial leadership. The Plant controller is responsible for planning
and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies
and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plant and provide
recommendation to improve site performance
Essential Duties
Overall Responsibility for delivering Financials, Cost and Compliance Controls at the plant as well as
working with the plant team to achieve all KPI’s of the Plant
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory / Cost Accounting and
Revenue Recognition
Costing Experience and Analytics to understand and analyse for variances in Cost
Preparation and monitoring of Plant Budget, Product Costing validation
Responsible for Month end closing Activity and reporting
Responsible for Custody and Control of Fixed Assets. Management of Assets Expenditure
Accounts Payable Management – Payment, Review advances, Open PO and GRIR
Accounts Receivables Management – Collection from Customer, Proof of Dispatch etc
Controlling Plant Overheads. To track plant performance on a regular basis and drive attention to
key performance indicator driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at plant
Inventory Control thru Monthly Reporting and Review with the teams
Ensure Proper Internal Control System is implemented and followed at Plant
Responsible for Statutory Compliances with respect to GST and all statues. To facilitate the
interactions with the various authorities related to Plant working
Closure of Quarterly Statutory Audit as listed company
Experience / Skills / Specific Knowledge / Education
At least 15~20 Yrs. out of which at least 4 yrs experience in similar position (Plant Finance Head)
SAP Experience is must
